Fresh Foliage vellum

Good evening all, what a gorgeous day today! The sun is shining and I hope you are all relaxing in the shade with a big drink.

Today's card is using the French Foliage stamp set I have been using recently. The card is made by layering crumb cake card stock on Early Espresso card stock and then stamping the script stamp with Early Espresso ink. The vellum overlay was made by stamping the large leaf with Old Olive ink. The vellum is lovely and very delicate, but if you are inking onto it then you have to wait a while just to let it dry as it is less porous than the card stock.

It is sometimes hard to embellish cards for men without making them too girly and the linen thread that Stampin' Up sell is excellent for adding that little something without making it too fussy. The tag is made using the extra large and large tag punches and layering them. These punches work excellently together and layering them together gives a lovely professional finished look. I used the crop a dile to punch a hole and set one of the metallic eyelets. I stamped the script in crumb cake before punching the tag and then used the crop a dile to change the style of the "thinking for you" stamp (otherwise it wouldn't have fit on the tag!).

I do hope you have liked these cards and thanks to everyone for your lovely comments. Don't forget that you can order these products from me at any time, just give me a call on 07795474490 or email me at Looking forward to hearing from you!
