Strength and Hope square card.

Good evening blogland, today we see the second card in our Strength and Hope series. As I mentioned yesterday £1 from the sale of every one of these stamp sets goes to Breast Cancer Research.

This card was inspired by one of the sample cards in the mini catalogue. This is only one reason why buying from Stampin' Up is so good, the sample cards in the catalogue are so useful in inspiring you and showing different ways the stamps can be used. Don't forget that anyone placing an order over £25 with me gets both of the current catalogues posted to them free of charge!

So as I mentioned this card was inspired by a card in the mini catalogue. The card in 10 cm by 10 cm which is not only a useful size to fit the small envelopes and cello bags sold by Stampin' Up, but you can get 4 cards out of one sheet of A4 card which makes them a very economical size to do.

Although the set is quite a girly set, as you would expect from a set designed for the Breast Cancer campaign, this wood cut image can make for a more masculine image .

The textured strip on the card is made from chocolate chip card stock that has been put through the Big Shot in the square lattice embossing folder. Having the embossing folders allows us to add great depth to projects without stamping.

Well that's all from me today, see you tomorrow for a very very......pink card!
