Strength and Hope script

Good evening all, thanks for coming back to check out my next project. Card makers and scrapbookers have always been big hearted, so many crafters that I know donate their time, skills and resources to raising money for charities. The Strength and Hope stamp set is brilliant in that it affords you two ways to contribute, once by buying the set so that Stampin' Up will donate to Breast Cancer Awareness, and by being an excellent set to make cards to donate to or sell for charities.

The card I have made today is a lot more pink than I would normally have made, but seems to work perfectly with the sentiments expressed in the stamps, and the message behind the set itself.

Strength and Hope script
The script stamp in this stamp set has very useful and inspirational sentiments expressed in it. by using Stampin' write markers to colour in the stamp you can highlight the words that you want to express. You can also use your stamp-a-majig to line up this stamp to make a larger background or extend it as I have here.

The Hope sentiment is one of my favourites and here it is stamped on paper vellum (I stamped the butterflies from the first card this week on the same kind) and then punched with the decorative label punch from the new mini catalogue. I think that it gives the stamp a subtle highlight that using card stock wouldn't give.

I have to say that I was very dubious about this card as I was making it, but it is becoming one of my favourites.

Hope you enjoyed this, check back tomorrow for some blues.
