Stampin' up Owl flowers

Good evening everyone and welcome to the final instalment of my owl punch series. I love how this week I have really looked at this versatile little punch, at all the shapes and been able to see beyond simply what it was designed for. It not only made me think outside the box, but it was like shopping for crafty things with no price tag!
So today I show you my lovely tulips, just in time for spring. I have to say I'm a bit sorry I didn't think of this earlier in the year as it would make a lovely Mother's Day card.

Owl punch tulips

I used the body of the owl punch to make the flowers and the leaves. As you can see from the photo you can get different sized leaves by changing how you cut the body of the owl. The fuller leaves come from two separate punched shapes and the remainder is the thinnest leaves in the picture. The vase for the flowers is made from the ornament punch which shows how versatile that punch can be as well, its' not just for Christmas!

Starting tomorrow I will be using the "Strength and Hope" stamp set to make five different projects. This stamp set is unique in the catalogue in that every sale prompts a contribution from Stampin' Up to Breast Cancer research so please join me to find out how you can make a difference by doing what you love.

A big thank you to all of you who looked every day and an even bigger thank you to those who left me a comment. See you all tomorrow!
